Additional Information
Sizing:
Tungsten Carbide and Titanium CANNOT be re-sized. The rings come as is so please make sure your size is correct.
Wrong Size Ordered:
Unfortunately if the wrong size was ordered you would responsible for 100% of the cost of a new ring.
If I by mistake send you a wrong size I will bear the cost of the shipping from you to me and I will bear the costs of the new shipping.
US ring sizes can be bigger or smaller by 0.2 of the size for example a ring size 7 could be 7.2 or 6.8.
I strongly recommend going to a multiple reputable professional jewelers and getting sized accordingly.
NOTE : In any case I would recommend getting sized with a similar width ring, moreover, if it is comfort fit - getting sized with a similar width comfort fit band will be ideal.
Getting Sized:
Please note that all of my Tungsten/Titanium rings are made with a comfort fit unless you request otherwise. We are unable to re-size majority of our rings, so it is vital that we get the sizing correct the first time. We recommend getting sized until at least two reputable jewelers agree on the same size.
Plating:
Any item that is plated (Black,Gold,Rose gold,Silver) can have the plating come off. Tungsten and titanium's natural color is grey/silver which means that any other color is in fact a plating, the plating can be scratched, the plating is not scratch resistant so please make sure you are aware to that before you make your purchase. The plating color can come off eventually over time depending on the use. Water, Hand soap, hand sanitizer and any other chemicals used on the ring can make the plating come off faster than expected.
Also wearing the item inside the oceans water, or a chloride swimming pool.
A non-custom made order can be re-plated and the cost may vary.
If you wish to have your item re plated :
The cost of re plating an item is 49$ - the shipping back to me is on you the shipping back to you is on me.
if your items has been engraved - i will remove the engraving so if you like to keep it please add a new engraving product.
Please contact me for any re plating issues.
Same goes for any type of rhodium plating - ie: black, white etc'...
Meteorite:
Meteorites are almost never "perfect". Please expect that there might be small imperfections/marks/inclusions visible in the meteorite. Their imperfections makes them unique and beautiful. Meteors are formed as they travel through space and millions of years later they may land on earth and become a Meteorite. Remember that the beauty of meteorites is its natural variation. Each piece of meteorite is different, unfortunately we can't really control the exact color as it is an organic material, however we will do our best to match the listed image.
Meteorite is an iron based material and does have the potential to rust. However it should not chip, crack or break. It does however have the potential to scratch or dent like any other material. If you would like your ring to stay nice looking, don’t abuse your jewelry, treat it like you would any other fine jewelry, don’t wear while doing intense activities that would be hard on your hands (yard work, construction, automotive repair, ect). The etch pattern of your meteorite ring may be less sharp, over time. If this occurs, the ring can be re-etched.
Meteorites do contain some nickel therefore if you have a nickel allergy please be aware that this could cause an allergic reaction if it is placed directly against the skin.
Under NO circumstances can I be held responsible if your meteorite rusts when it has left my possession. Why? I have no control over how it is handled once it has left my possession. All meteorite rings leave my possession rust free. If it starts to rust once in your possession then I cannot be held responsible.
METEORITE CARE (without rustproofing):
If your meteorite starts rusting then you may have exposed it to an acid. Acid triggers rusting.
Care must be taken to keep meteorite away from chemicals (chlorine, bleach, swimming pools, etc.) especially anything with an acid in it.
METEORITE DAMAGE/BREAKAGE:
Once Meteorite Rings/Items are no longer in my possession I will/can not be held responsible if/when it/they get damaged/break/chip if the problem/damage is not reported within 24 hours of receiving the Meteorite, calculated from the date and time on the Delivery notice.
TYPE OF METEORITE WE USE:
Gibeon is a meteorite that fell in prehistoric times in Namibia. It was named after the nearest town: Gibeon, Namibia. The term Gibeon encompasses the whole meteoritic material fallen from the sky during this fall. This material is classified as iron meteorite belonging to the chemical group IVA. Gibeon meteorites are composed of an iron-nickel alloy containing significant amounts of cobalt and phosphorus. The crystal structure of this meteorite provides a classic example of fine octahedrite and the Widmanstatten pattern is appreciated for its beauty both by collectors and designers of jewelry
TUNGSTEN CARBIDE:
Tungsten Carbide rings are virtually indestructible and scratch proof. They are polished with a diamond compound, resulting in a polish and shine that will last forever. Tungsten rings offer the perfect combination of unbelievable strength with style and comfort. Tungsten rings are the most wear resistant rings available on the planet. Tungsten is about 10 times harder than 18K Gold, 5 times harder than tool steel, and 4 times harder than titanium. Tungsten measures between 8 and 9 on the Mohs hardness scale. (Diamonds are a 10 - the highest.) Due to their extreme hardness, Tungsten Rings will hold their shape and shine longer than any ring on the market. Tungsten rings will not bend, however, in the event of an emergency, a ring can be removed by a medical professional. Tungsten, though very hard, is not indestructible. The rings will break or shatter if they encounter a significant impact with a hard object or dropped on a hard surface.
TITANIUM
Titanium is a very lightweight but durable metal that does have the ability to scratch, which can be buffed out; it can dent but it should not crack, Among its many advantages, it is heat treatable. This grade is an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, weld and fabric ability, this is the same Grade of titanium that is used in Biomedical Implants. Most hospitals have the tools necessary to remove a titanium band in an emergency therefore there is no need to worry about the removal of a finger in an emergency.
SILVER:
Type: Lustrous precious metal, valued for its beauty.
Sterling: .925 sterling silver.
Durability: Pure silver is relatively soft, very malleable, and easily damaged so it is commonly combined with other metals to produce a more durable product. The silver we use consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% of alloy.
YELLOW GOLD/ WHITE GOLD/ROSE GOLD:
Type: 10 K, 14K or 18K
Consists of: silver, copper, zinc, palladium and are used to make gold more durable for everyday wear
